In this post we will detail a recent update that has been made to the FSLabs A320-232 SAA livery, and the installation process for this particular package. Included in this update is a new static model, as well as changes to the virtual cockpit. Included with this release are two different packages - one for FSX, and one for Prepar3D. The FSX version of the installation is very simple, and does not require any additional files from third parties. To install, simply copy the three folders from the download to your FSLabs A320-232 SAA folder. The Prepar3D version has a few extra files, and will require the use of a third party installer. Once installed, you will have a new folder appended to your FSX or Prepar3D installation. This is the location where you will find the changes to the cockpit's texture and layout files. PNG files are included in both packages for those who prefer 3D representational imagery instead of simple text labels. With that out of the way, let's take our A320-232 for a test drive. Installation Procedures: When installing this update for FSX, assuming you already have the FSLabs A320-232 "SAA" installed, simply copy the three folders from the download to your FSLabs A320-232 SAA folder. The Prepar3D version has two extra files, and will require the use of a third party installer. The following steps can be carried out at any time after initializing the game (checking that your aircraft model is visible by pressing Alt+G), even if you've already performed an existing update. The Prepar3D version of the installation is relatively straightforward, just follow the steps below. 1) Start by opening FSX's "Add-ons" manager.2) Locate the "FLXA320-232 SAA v1.0 Pre3D" folder, and double click to open it. This will open up a window (see screenshot) telling you that an update is available for your aircraft, simply click "Update Now". 3) A window will pop up telling you that an update is already available, if so, simply click "Close". Otherwise, you will be prompted to open Prepar3D's "Manage", and then locate the FLXA320-232 SAA v1.0 Pre3D folder. 4) Double click on the "FLXA320-232 SAA v1.0 Pre3D" folder, and then click on the "FSX Scenery" tab to see your simulated aircraft.5) Next, you will want to close all FSX applications (if it isn't already closed). cfa1e77820
